How do we begin working with your agency?
To start, just call us or fill out our provider coverage request form. If you’re a new client, we’ll send you our standard client agreement to get started so that we can post your positions on our job board and begin actively recruiting for qualified candidates.
What are your fees?
There is no fee for us to search and present candidates to you for your review. Your healthcare facility will only be charged when a candidate is accepted and scheduled for work. Our agency fees will be spelled out with you in advance in our standard client agreement.
Who handles provider logistics, like housing and travel?

What steps does Locum Leaders take to ensure that we see quality candidates?
We advertise nationally to reach the broadest range of candidates for review. All of our prospective candidates must complete an extensive application process consistent with the guidelines of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO). Each application is then reviewed by an outside risk management consultant retained by Locum Leaders. These steps allow us to draw from a large pool of highly qualified providers for your review.
What happens if I need to reach you in an emergency or after business hours?
All of our associates provide their clients with their cell phone numbers and are available 24/7 to assist you in anyway.
What kind of malpractice insurance do you offer?
Locum Leaders’ providers are covered by occurrence malpractice insurance, which provides lifetime protection. Our insurance agency is Medical Protective (MedPro), the nation’s oldest medical malpractice insurer. MedPro maintains an A++ rating by A.M. Best and is owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway investment group. The company is licensed and admitted in all fifty states.
